Writers + Photographers: Feel free to send a quick pitch that outlines your story and describes what’s been done so far or what you’re hoping to do to tell your story so we can decide if it’s right for Our Wild Puget Sound and how we can help make it come to life. If you don’t have a specific story you’re currently working on but want to throw your hat in the ring for future projects also feel free to reach out. For general submissions it’s helpful if you let us know the topics you’re most excited about so we can match you to the exact right story.
Writers: We know that more and more publications are requiring you to source your own imagery, but we’re happy to tackle the visual elements of your story whenever possible, so if you don’t have accompanying photos/videos/etc., don’t let that deter you from submitting.
Local Photographers: We attempt to use local imagery as much as possible in your stories. If you have stock libraries available online, or a stock list of photographed species + locations, please feel free to send them our way!
